(ASP-100) - "SKILLS FOR SUCCESS"

~~~GREETINGS FUTURE ARGOSY FRESHMEN~~~
My name is Laura Croffitt-Adoo. I am a student at Argosy University – Atlanta (AUA).    Currently, I am enrolled in a course entitled, Skills for Success (ASP-100).  To satisfy the academic and interpersonal skills requirements, all students are required to take Skills for Success (ASP-100) and Interpersonal Effectiveness (PSY-180) during their first semester of attendance at Argosy University – Atlanta (AUA).  These two courses go towards your Electives Requirements.
This purpose of this blog is to introduce you to the ASP-100 "Skills for Success" course at AUA.  My objective is to provide you with as much insight into this course as possible.  First, let me begin by saying...
Welcome to SKILLS FOR SUCCESS!
There are two ways you can take this course at AUA - online or distance learning.  Online means that your class meetings and assignments are 100% online, which gives you the freedom to decide when (and where) you attend class…you can log into your classes any time, day or night.  The distance education (ground/blended) format offers the flexibility of on-line learning combined with face-to-face interaction.  The distance learning (ground/blended) course meets on campus once a week and the rest of the week you’re communicating with the professor and your peers via the internet.  Because of my personal life-style, I chose the distance learning option for this course.
Skills for Success is an 8 week course consisting of several topics divided into “modules”.  You will generally cover one module per week.  In each module you are responsible for:  weekly readings, discussion questions, and assignments. Below is an example of the 8-week module topics:
